Another PlayStation exclusive to be ported to PC
According to the creator Kazunori Yamauchi, he claims that Polyphony Digital is now looking forward to releasing games onto the PC platform (thanks gtplanet).
Given that some of PlayStation's exclusive titles have already landed on the PC platform, including Santa Monica Studio's God of War, Insomniac Games' Spider-Man, Guerrilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn, and Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4 in recent years.
“Yes, I do think so,” said Yamauchi. “Gran Turismo is a very finely tuned title,” Yamauchi-san explained. “There are not many platforms which could run the game in 4K/60p natively, so one way we make that possible is to narrow down the platform. It’s not a very easy subject, but of course, we are looking into it and considering it.”
Gran Turismo 7 was released for PS4 and PS5 as the "Forza" of PlayStation, backed with stunning graphics and realistic gameplay. As if Gran Turismo ever has a chance to the PC Port, Need for Speed and Forza Horizon might have to take on another strong competitor in the PC racing games market.
