A new and notably cheaper addition to Google’s Pixel Buds family has been announced in the form of the $99 (~RM408) Pixel Buds A-Series.
The Pixel Buds A-Series sports custom-designed 12 mm dynamic speaker drivers with Bass Boost and beamforming mics for outside noise reduction. They also offer Adaptive Sound. Google says that each earbud is connected to the main audio-playing device and “has strong individual transmission power.”
The new Pixel Buds have a gentle seal, with a spatial vent for reducing pressure in the ear. Additionally, they have a stabilizer arc and sweat and water resistance.

Aside from regular audio-listening, the Pixel Buds A-Series can be used for real-time translation for 40+ languages when paired with a Pixel or Android 6.0+ phone. Google Assistant is built into the device.
The Pixel Buds A-Series colour options include a new version of Clearly White that has gray undertones and Dark Olive. Battery-wise, Google says that the ear buds can provide five hours of listening time or up to 24 hours when backed by the charging case. 15 minutes of charging is said to provide three hours of listening time.
The Pixel Buds A-Series are currently available for pre-order in the U.S. and Canada and are scheduled to reach customers there by June 17. #google #googlepixel #pixelbuds
