Gigabyte's New Aorus RTX 30 Series "Waterforce" Graphics Cards Can Detect Leaks

Ever considered a water block graphics card but scared of leaks? Gigabyte has just announced their new Aorus RTX 30 Series Waterforce graphics cards, which are water-cooled and have a built-in leak detection system.

  • AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3090 XTREME WATERFORCE WB 24G

  • AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3080 XTREME WATERFORCE WB 10G

  • AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3090 XTREME WATERFORCE 24G

  • AORUS GeForce RTX™ 3080 XTREME WATERFORCE 10G

Available in 4 models, these are the first Waterforce WB open-loop graphics cards to receive the (patent pending) leak detection feature. The leak detection circuit covers the entire fitting and water block, and flashes lights at the first sign of leakage so that users can address the issue promptly and prevent further damage to the system.

Gigabyte claims that the cards are "easy to use and maintenance-free." They also feature a large copper plate that is in direct contact with the GPU, VRAM, and other critical parts; the heat of these components will then be carried to the liquid cooling zone via heat pipes to enable efficient heat dissipation.

If you're an RGB lover, both the front cover and back plate of the new-gen Waterforce cards have customisable RGB lighting and RGB Fusion 2.0 support. All 4 variants come with three HDMI and three DP ports, dust-proof and moisture-proof aerospace-grade PCB coating, and ultra-durable materials.
