GIGABYTE has announced its takes on NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards.
The AORUS series features MAX-Covered cooling with three wind claw design blade fans and alternate spinning. It has a larger heat-sink than its previous generation counterpart and also has a larger copper plate, seven composite heat-pipes, and extended heatsink fins with GIGABYTE’s screen cooling tech. It also has aerospace-grade PCB coating, a Dual BIOS with quiet operation mode, ULTRA DURABLE certified components, and RGB Fusion 2.0.
Another feature of the AORUS RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti is a LCD monitor on the side of the graphics cards, which offers enthusiastic mode, text mode, image mode, and GIF mode options. The monitor also sports a CHIBI Time mode which presents a falcon logo that changes every hour.
The Gaming OC cards have the GIGABYTE WINDFORCE 3X cooling system, RGB fusion 2.0, and ULTRA DURABLE certified components, while the VISION OC versions are described as being on par with the Gaming OC while offering a silver and white scheme with lines for embellishment. Meanwhile, the EAGLE series also features WINDFORCE cooling and RGB Fusion 2.0, along with a sci-fi-inspired look that involves mechanical materials, a transparent cover, and a bright logo.
Finally, the RTX 3080 Ti-only AORUS WATERFORCE includes the AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE WB (open-loop) and AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE (all-in-one). The former sports “patent-pending” leak detection technology that makes use of a built-in leak detection circuit that covers the entire fitting and water block. Its function is to flash a light at the first sign of any leaks. It also has sunk-designed copper micro fins and “optimal channel spacing” between the fins.
Meanwhile, the latter offers easy installation and a double-size 240mm aluminum radiator with two 120mm double ball bearing fans, FEP tube, as well as a large copper plate, and heat pipes in contact with the GPU, VRAM and other critical parts. Both have RGB Fusion 2.0, aerospace-grade PCB coating and ULTRA DURABLE certified components.
Out of the new cards, the AORUS and GAMING OC graphics cards come with a 4-year warranty that requires online registration within 30 days of the purchase date.
