At CES 2022, GIGABYTE announced new graphics cards built on the AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT and GeForce RTX 3050 8G GPUs.
The Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics series include the Radeon RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G and Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G. Powered by the AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture, the new graphics cards are designed to deliver 1080p gaming performance for AAA and esports titles. The GPUs also support Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, AMD Smart Access Memory technology, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution upscaling
technology, and other advanced features.
On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 3050 8G series includes the GeForce RTX 3050 GAMING OC 8G, GeForce RTX 3050 EAGLE OC 8G, and GeForce RTX 3050 EAGLE 8G graphics cards. The RTX 3050 is the first 50-class desktop GPU to power the latest ray traced games at over 60fps. Equipped with 2nd generation RT cores and 3rd generation Tensor cores, it supports iconic Nvidia features like ray tracing and DLSS.
Radeon RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G
The Gaming OC model features GIGABYTE's Windforce 3X cooling system, which utilizes 3 unique blade fans with alternate spinning, composite copper heat pipes in direct contact with the GPU, as well as 3D active fans and screen cooling to effectively dissipate heat. The middle fan spins in the opposite direction of the two side ones for optimized airflow. The Windforce fans use graphene nano lubricant to extend the fan life by 2.1 times.
Radeon RX 6500 XT EAGLE 4G
Like the Gaming OC model, the EAGLE model also features the Windforce cooling technology, composite copper heat-pipe and copper plate, 3D active fans, and graphene nano lubricant to optimize heat dissipation and gaming performance. Inspired by science-fiction with mechanical materials, the EAGLE graphics card comes with a transparent cover and a bright logo.
GeForce RTX 3050 GAMING OC 8G
The GeForce RTX 3050 GAMING OC 8G graphics card also features the Windforce 3X cooling system along with a middle fan that spins in reverse to optimize airflow for heat dissipation. Using graphene nano lubricant, the Windforce fans can extend their lifespan by 2.1 times, which is nearly the lifespan of the double ball bearing while delivering quiet operation. The GPU supports RGB Fusion 2.0 to let users adjust the color of the lights and special effects to sync with their other AORUS devices.
GeForce RTX 3050 EAGLE OC 8G and GeForce RTX 3050 EAGLE 8G
To provide optimized heat dissipation and gaming performance, the GeForce RTX 3050 EAGLE series GPUs have the same cooling features as the other graphics cards mentioned above. It comes with a protective backplate that strengthens the overall structure of the GPU and prevents the PCB from bending or damage.
The GIGABYTE graphics cards use a multi-phase power supply to provide over-temperature protection and load balancing for each MOSFET, and allow it to operate at a lower temperature.
