GIGABYTE Launches AORUS 4K Gaming Monitors with HDMI 2.1

GIGABYTE has launched its AORUS 4K gaming monitors in Malaysia, with the lineup including a 32-inch, a 43-inch, and a 48-inch monitor.

The AORUS 4K gaming monitors include the FV43U, the FI32U, and the FO48U. All three have HDMI 2.1 support to enable them to be used with next-gen consoles.

At the time of writing, only the FV43U has its product page ready, but the lineup’s general page mentions the F132U as having Super Speed IPS while the F048U has an OLED screen. Unlike the FV43U and FI32U, the FO48U’s refresh rate is limited to 120Hz.

In the case of the FV43U, it offers a 43-inch VA QLED screen with a 1 ms MPRT, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, and VESA Display HDR1000 certification. Do note that while its refresh rate is typically 144Hz, it caps at 120Hz for console games due to hardware limits on the consoles themselves. Port-wise the monitor has two USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C port. It is available at a price of RM4,899.

The AORUS 4K gaming monitors also come with several AORUS-exclusive “tactical features”. “These in-game enhancements, including Aim Stabilizer, Black Equalizer, and Active Noise Cancellation, used to be available only to PC gamers, are now accessible to console players,” says the press release.
