Genshin Impact Team Sends Thank-You Gifts to Express Gratitude to Players

If you log in to Genshin Impact these two days, you probably receive two mails from the game's Operations Team with the title, "Thank You to All Our Travelers(1/4)" and "Thank You to All Our Travelers(2/4)".

In the first mail, Genshin has sent 400 Primogems and the Wings of Shimmering Galaxy to players for free. Meanwhile, players receive another 400 Primogems along with 2 Fragile Resins for free in the second mail.

As the titles of both mails suggest, players will be getting two more package of thank you gifts from the team. We expect the two upcoming mails will arrive at 12am on 2 and 3 October respectively. In the mails, Genshin wrote,

Dear Travelers, We sincerely thank you for your continuous support and love for Genshin Impact, and we would like to offer this thank-you gift to express our gratitude. In addition, we have specially prepared the Genshin Impact online concert on October 3, and we look forward to you joining us. May Teyvat bring you more joy and cherished memories.

While it's rare to receive such generous gifts from the Genshin team, it could be a marketing strategy to promote its upcoming First Global Online Concert on 3 October. Also, some fans speculate that the sudden gesture could be due to the recent backlash from fans with review bombing across its mobile stores because of the lack of benefits for its 1st anniversary events.
