The popular free-to-play game Genshin Impact will release its version 2.8 update on July 13, 2022.
Titled “Summer Fantasia”, the update sees the return of the Golden Apple Archipelago, which was last seen back in version 1.6’s “Midsummer Island Adventure” update. The island has been updated with new areas to explore and quests to experience.
The update also includes new outfits for the characters Fischl and Diluc, with the former being free to redeem as part of a special event.
A new character also joins the roster with the addition of Shikanoin Heizou, a 4-star character who is a detective for the Tenryou Commission. He is also a Catalyst user that uses Anemo to punch and kick his enemies.
Lastly, the popular character Kaedehara Kazuha returns once more in his brand new Story Quest which will go more in-depth into his mysterious past.
