Garena Free Fire Turns 8!: A Celebration of Infinite Rewards, Iconic Collectibles, and Endless Possibilities to Battle in Style!

Garena Free Fire, the world’s most downloaded mobile game, is celebrating its 8th anniversary from June 20 to July 13 with a global, month-long event themed “Infinity and Celebration.” Inspired by the infinity symbol and Möbius strip, the event highlights the game's ongoing commitment to creativity, community, and evolving gameplay. Players can enjoy new features like the Infinity Ring battle arena, collect special Infinity Items, and experience the game’s first customizable lobby. Early rewards, such as Infinity Airdrops and Cakes, will also be available in Battle Royale mode ahead of the full event launch.
The biggest reward drop of the year has arrived
Starting June 20, Free Fire players can unlock a variety of free, stylish, limited-time rewards as part of the 8th anniversary celebration. The highlight is the Beyond Infinity Male Bundle — a sleek, train conductor-inspired outfit themed around infinity — which can be earned by completing special missions.
Players can also score the Gloo Wall - 8th Anniversary, a vibrant, anime-style design of Kelly created and voted on by the community. This fan-favorite collectible is available during the preheat event on June 18–19 or by teaming up in the returning Gloo Wall Relay mode from June 20 to July 13.
More limited-edition rewards await, including an 8th Anniversary emote and battle card.
New Gameplay: Battle for Infinity
Battle Royale, Reimagined
Free Fire’s Battle Royale mode is getting an anniversary makeover with themed Infinity trains replacing the traditional airplane drop. These exclusive trains will also appear at eight stations on the map, but only two will be active at a time, with each limited to one team — making it a race to seize control.
Securing a train grants access to the Infinity Ring, a special 8th anniversary combat zone where players can collect powerful Infinity Items like unlimited Gloo Walls, Revival Cards, and Upgrade Chips. These enhancements add new tactical layers and fast-paced action to every match.
Clash Squad gets two special gameplay updates
Players can check out two exciting anniversary-exclusive additions arriving in Clash Squad — Infinity Items such as a Gloo Maker, Inhalers, and Upgrade Chips that can be unlocked by accumulating points, as well as Special Infinity Train Rounds designed for fast-paced, high reward gameplay.
During Clash Squad matches, players will encounter one of the three Special Infinity Train Round variations, each bringing a unique advantage:
As the Boost Express pulls into the station, players can collect enhancements for movement speed, damage, and HP recovery.
The Weapon Express will roll in loaded with new Infinity weapons.
The Gloo Wall Express delivers valuable Gloo Wall fragments players can use to replenish their Gloo Wall reserves to better withstand enemies’ advances.
Introducing Free Fire’s first-ever customizable train lobby
For the first time ever, Free Fire introduces a fully customizable train lobby, letting players personalize their space with achievement boards, themed train skins, and custom sky and ground effects. They can also use an in-game AI tool to generate unique train designs based on their own character outfits, creating a more immersive and personal experience.
Infinity-themed anniversary collections await
More collectibles will be launched in Luck Royale Events, blending nostalgia with fresh, themed designs. These include:
Top Criminal (Golden): An iconic evolution of the fan-favorite Criminal series, reimagined in radiant gold. This legendary outfit features reactive elements that change color and texture as players run in-game, making it a standout for both new and long-time fans.
New Evo Gun - P90 Gilded Corrosion: A powerful addition to the lineup, the first-ever P90 Evo Gun in Free Fire offers enhanced visuals and effects to elevate the combat experience.
Stylish 8th Anniversary Unlimited Train-themed outfits: Specially designed male and female character bundles that let players battle in signature Free Fire style.
An animation video will be released on Jun 20, presenting the 8th anniversary theme song. Titled “Infinity,” the cyber-infused pop rock track conveys memorable moments in Free Fire, bound to excite players and evoke emotional resonance. The animation video also pays tribute to classic bundles launched over the years — which will be recrafted in the Infinity theme this anniversary. Finally, fans and players can catch a glimpse of a shadowy, iconic ninja silhouette at the end of the video — an Easter egg for what is ahead in the weeks to follow.
