The first week of March will feature a few brand new titles, including one for fans of 19th century America, a sequel to the vintage open-world RPG ELEX, and the highly anticipated PlayStation-exclusive Gran Turismo 7.
Battle Cry of Freedom
Taking players back to 19th century America, Battle Cry of Freedom is a simulation game in which players will play as a Union soldier or a Confederate soldier and experience the brutal realities of the Civil War. Played in the first and third-person perspective, the game will feature various Civil War-era weapons from long-range rifled muskets to close combat tools such as bayonets, knives, and sabers.
Battle Cry of Freedom will be released on Steam on 1 March.
ELEX II follows right where things ended in ELEX after main character, Jax defeated the Hybrid and a new enemy arrives. Now, Jax has to convince the factions to unite against the invaders and find his own son, Dex, who got separated from him.
Like its prequel, ELEX II is about smacking enemies with a broad range of melee and ranged weapons, including the likes of bows, axes, guns, rocket launchers, and more. Jax's jetpack is also back but better, with upgrades available for higher speeds, more efficient fuel consumption, and more.
Gran Turismo 7
With a similar menu style as Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo 7 will include classic features, including the GT Simulation Mode, Special Events, Championships, Driving School, Tuning Parts Shop, Used Cars dealership, and GT Auto. The new GT Sport Mode, Brand Central, and Discover that were first introduced in Gran Turismo Sport will also be available.
Gran Turismo 7 will launch on PS4 and PS5 on 4 March.
