[Games Around the Corner] Week 22, 2022 - Mercenaries, Diablo, and Cards

Launching this week are three new titles, including a multiplayer FPS for up to 60 players, a new entry from Blizzard's Diablo series, and an adventure game "full of cunning, intrigue, and delectable deceit".

LEAP

LEAP throws you into battles as an elite LEAP mercenary, where you choose to fight for either the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) or the rebel Exo-Terrans. You can team up with up to 60 players, with different class abilities and weapons. From a hoverboard to a mechanical moose, you'll get a personal vehicle to catch up with your enemies.

LEAP will be released on Steam, PS4, and PS5 on 1 June.

Diablo Immortal

Taking place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, Diablo Immortal tasks players to search for all the Fragments of the Worldstone - the pieces remaining after the stone was shattered by Tyrael and scattered all over the Sanctuary. It will feature several fan-favorite characters, such as Barbarian, Wizard, and Necromancer.

Diablo Immortal will arrive on Android, iOS, and PC on 2 June.

Card Shark

Master card deception skills in Card Shark using card marking, false shuffles, deck switching, false deals, and more to climb your way to the top of 18th-century French society, all the way up to the King's table. Cheat however you want but don't get caught! The game features artwork by artist Nicolai Troshinsky and an original score from Andrea Boccadoro playing in the background.

Card Shark will launch on Steam and Switch on 3 June.
