G.SKILL Sets New World Record with DDR4-6666, Introduces New High-Capacity RAM Kits

If the brand 'G.SKILL' sounds vaguely familiar to you, it's probably because you've come across their beautiful Trident Z series RAM kits at some point before. G.SKILL specializes in high performance memory, SSD products, and gaming peripherals designed for the PC master race.

Along with the recent launch of Intel's 10th Gen desktop processors and the Z490 chipset, G.SKILL is introducing more high-capacity RAM kits to raise the bar even higher.

G.SKILL's latest 32GBx2 kit is capable of an incredible DDR4-4400 with CL19-26-26-46 timings. These were stress tested on the latest Z490 platform and 10th Gen Intel Core processors.

There is also a low latency 16GBx2 kit running at DDR4-4400 with CL17-18-18-38 timings, validated on the ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme motherboard and an Intel Core i9-10900K processor.

Now, let's talk about the whopping 5GHz RAM. DDR4-5000 is a huge memory frequency milestone by any means, and G.SKILL has successfully reached this DDR4-5000 CL19 landmark achievement with 8GBx2 capacity across several of the latest Intel Z490 chipset platform motherboards from multiple vendors, including the ASUS ROG Maximus XII Apex, ASRock Z490 AQUA, and MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE motherboards. These were paired with Intel Core i9-10900K and i9-10900KF processors.

Last but not least, G.SKILL has just announced that they've just set the world record with a whopping DDR4-6666. This was achieved with the help of liquid nitrogen for extreme system cooling, and was validated on the new ASUS ROG Maximus XII Apex motherboard paired with an Intel Core i9-10900K processor.

You can watch the ground-breaking moment here:

Achieving such speeds is no mean feat, and G.SKILL's boundary breaking new kits are a good indication of what's to come in the ever-evolving tech industry. Now the question is, how much do they cost, and when can I get one? :D
