Earlier this year, Garena announced that the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) will take place in Sentosa, Singapore in May. Now as we're closing this month in more than a week, more details about the offline tournament have been revealed.
The FFWS 2022 Sentosa features the theme of "Heroes Arise", embodying the hard work, tenacity, and courage required to reach the summit of success. It will see 18 teams across 11 regions competing for the championship title. Play-ins will begin on 14 May with the top 10 teams advancing to the Finals the following week on 21 May. The top 4 teams during the Play-ins will join the top 8 seeded teams to be the finalists for the tournament.
The participating teams will battle over 6 rounds across 3 maps. Local teams, Todak and Farang will be making their FFWS debut during the Play-ins and Finals respectively, among other teams to snag a chunk of the US$2 million prize pool (~RM8.57 million).
