Today, Garena’s Free Fire announced its annual international celebratory event - the Free Fire All Stars (FFAS). Featuring famous influencers and fan-voted players, the FFAS 2021 will take place in the Americas, Asia, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The event will be held online between July and August, and the Asian leg will run from July 23 - 25.
Malaysian Free Fire fans can expect to see long-time content creators AshedZ and SpiderGunz, newcomer Obvy, and streamers from the Philippines and Cambodia team up for the tournament. “The team signifies Garena’s latest effort to celebrate its global community of content creators by forging international bonds between the three countries, who share one server,” said the press release.

The FFAS Asia will be livestreamed from July 23 - 25 from 7pm onwards on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
On the first day, 8 teams will fight in the Bomb Squad mode in a single elimination format. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be held in a BO3 format, with the top team from each advancing to the next round. On the other hand, the finals will be held on a different map and will use a BO5 format.
8 teams will battle in the Clash Squad mode on the second day in a single-elimination style. Players will compete on BO3 maps in the quarters and semis, and on BO5 maps in the finals.
The finale will see 12 teams fighting in the Battle Royale mode across 3 maps. They will play twice on Bermuda, Kalahari, and Purgatory in a BO6 format.
Each day’s winning team will receive US$10,000 (~RM42,000) and the title of FFAS Asia
Bomb Squad, Clash Squad, or Battle Royale champion.
