Square Enix planned to release a DLC for the action-adventure game "Forspoken" despite the game doesn't spark joy and being criticized for the average gameplay elements. The new DLC "In Tanta We Trust" will be released on May 26, 2023.
The DLC is positioned as a prequel, set 25 years before the events of the main game after Frey is catapulted back in time to the Purge of the Rheddig, to save Athia with a new set of magical abilities and new companion Tanta Cinta, and a new environment to explore.
"In Tanta We Trust" will be released for the PlayStation 5 and PC on May 26, 2023. It's also included in Forspoken's Deluxe Edition, with owners of that edition having access to it a day earlier on May 23rd.
