Former Halo Dev Forms New Game Studio

A former Halo developer has founded a new game studio with other high-profile developers.

Jerry Hook’s new AAA game studio, Jar of Sparks, comprises developers who worked on the Halo series, Batman: Arkham series, Doom (2016) and SSX.

Hook said in a tweet that the studio’s mission is “to create a new generation of narrative-driven action games in a new world."

He estimated the studio’s first game is at least 3 to 4 years away and insists that the game will not be a live-service game.
