The official Fate/EXTRA Record X (formerly known as Twitter) account recently released a trailer on their account on the brand new Fate/EXTRA Record Game, which is a remake of the Marvelous Entertainment's Fate/Extra PlayStation Portable game. The game is set to release in 2025 and will be playable on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

The trailer showcased not only features some of the characters that will appear in the game, but it also showcased the gameplay of the game, allowing players to understand and learn more about this remake.
Based on the trailers that have been shown thus far, Fate/EXTRA Record will be retaining the same exploration gameplay that was featured in the original game. Though, one change that was made from the original game would be the fact that the combat will not utilise the Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic from the original where all actions were selected before combat initiates.
Instead, the actions will are selected with each costing a specified amount of AP. The game also features a Turn-Based System where each combatant will have their respective turns to attack each other. Furthermore, there is now a guard gauge which depletes depending on the damage of the enemy's initial attack.
In the game, players will assume the role of as the protagonist of the game known as Hakuno Kishinami, with their Classes, Gender and even Name will be depended on the player's preference. Join them on their journey as they fight both friends and foe alike in order to obtain the possession of a mysterious object known as the "Holy Grail" while also trying to find out who they really are.
The game was first announced back in 2020 during the Fate/Extra game's 10th anniversary, though no release date or trailer had been announced then. Two years later, a trailer for the game was released, showcasing a bit of the gameplay and characters in the game.
