Corsair has just launched the MP400 Gen3 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive, which takes advantage of 3D QLC NAND technology to store massive amounts of data with 3,400MB/s and 3,000MB/s sequential read and write speeds respectively.
Its M.2 form factor enables users to easily slot it into a motherboard, while its 3D QLC NAND memory offers up to 33% more scaling advantage than its TLC NAND counterparts, enabling it to store more data within the same form factor. QLC NAND memory is great for read-heavy workloads, so depending on your usage scenarios, the MP400 could be a great option to serve your needs.
Like all other Corsair SSDs, the MP400 combines with free CORSAIR SSD Toolbox
software, enabling convenient features such as secure erase and firmware updates right from your desktop. The MP400 purportedly features endurance up to 1,600TB Written* and comes with a 5-year warranty for peace of mind.
The MP400 is available immediately in 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB capacities, with an 8TB model coming soon. For more information, visit the official product page here.
