Elgato Launches Wi-Fi-Enabled Ring Light

Today, Elgato welcomed a new member into its family of lighting equipment - the Elgato Ring Light. It boasts a uniform circular glow with 2 diffusion layers that flatters the skin and facial contours while reducing eye strain and heat output.

Like the Elgato Key Light and Key Light Air that came before it, the Elgato Ring Light features the same high-quality, flicker-free OSRAM LED technology that helps creators produce professional-looking content with ease. It has a brightness output of up to 2,500 lumens, and is dimmable in increments of 10%; the colour temperature is also adjustable from 2,900 - 7,000K.

It is also Wi-Fi-enabled so you can control it through your phone or PC via a companion app - and of course, it is also compatible with the Elgato Stream Deck. If you prefer manual controls, that option is also available, with 2 onboard buttons to adjust brightness and colour temperature respectively.

In terms of mounting, the telescopic pole and 3D mount allows you to adjust the height and beam angle of the Ring Light, while a camera ball mount with a 1/4" screw allows you to attach your camera or a mount for your phone, such as the Elgato Phone Grip which is sold separately. A padded desk clamp allows you to save precious real estate on your tabletop, and it's also compatible with Elgato's own modular Multi Mount.

The Elgato Ring Light is available immediately and comes with a 2-year warranty. For more details, you can check out the official product page here.
