Dyson has recently announced a pair of noise-canceling headphones with a built-in air purifier to protect users from air pollution - the Dyson Zone.
Dyson Zone is designed to deliver pure air and pure audio combining over-ear headphones with a contact-free visor for "a continuous stream of purified air to your nose and mouth, without touching your face". It features a 2-stage purification system that is capable of filtering city fumes anf pollutants through high-performance filters and two miniaturised air pumps.
According to the company, the compressors in each ear cup can "draw air through the dual-layer filters and project two streams of purified air to the wearer's nose and mouth, channeled through the non-contact visor."
For an immersive audio experience, the headphone cushions mold around the listener's ear to reduce unwanted disturbance with "advanced noise cancelation, low distortion, and a neutral frequency response." Dyson Zone will go on sale in fall but the company has yet to announce its price.
