The Epic Games Store is giving away Dungeons 3 for free this week.
Released in 2017, the strategy fantasy game puts players in the shoes of the Dungeon Lord. Underground, you’ll be busying yourself with building a dungeon, while on the surface, you’ll be leading armies like in an RTS.
“Unleash your dark side by creating a unique underground dungeon from a huge array of rooms, traps and structures. Raise the most terrifying army the world has ever seen, by choosing from despicable creatures such as orcs, succubae, zombies and much, much more,” reads the description. “Then, once you have built your forces, emerge from the darkness and guide your army to the light of the overworld, where you will corrupt the land and dispatch anything even vaguely heroic, cute or unicorn-shaped.”
According to the store page, Dungeons 3’s singleplayer campaign, which has randomly-generated levels will take players over 20 hours to clear its 20 missions. There’s also a two-player co-op mode.
This week’s Epic Games Store freebie was originally supposed to be Wargame: Red Dragon, another strategy game, but one that would’ve made players a commander in a fictional Cold War-era conflict instead of a Dungeon Lord. It was swapped a few days ago due to the release being temporarily delayed.
