Diablo IV is the fastest-selling game for Blizzard, with over 93 million hours of playtime.

Blizzard announced its best fastest-selling game of all time, Diablo IV. It is the highest pre-launch unit sales on both console and PC, topping over 93 million hours of playtime since the game's early access on June 1, or equivalent to over 10,000 years.


"This is a moment years in the making for the Diablo IV team," said Rod Fergusson, general manager of Diablo. In addition, Diablo IV even surpassed the previous fastest-selling game "World of Warcraft: Shadowlands" which marks more than 3.7 million copies on the first day of sale on PC whereas Diablo IV was released on multiple platforms like PC and consoles.


According to IGN, Rod Fergusson also confirmed that there will be two expansions for Diablo IV which are currently in the works. Meanwhile, if you have not played Diablo IV, you can get the game on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Also, the game features cross-platform play and cross-progression.


Diablo IV is available for digital purchase as a Standard edition ($69.99), Deluxe edition ($89.99), and Ultimate edition ($99.99).
