Corsair Announces Katar Pro Gaming Mice, Wired and Wireless Versions Available

Adding to the onslaught of new product announcements, Corsair has just revealed the Katar Pro Gaming Mice, available in both wired and wireless versions.

The Katar Pro Wireless features Corsair's own Slipstream technology, which boasts a "faster-than-wired" connection with sub-1ms latency. Interestingly, it is powered by a single AA battery for up to 135 hours of battery life, instead of having an onboard battery like its siblings. It boasts a 10,000 DPI optical sensor and three DPI presets that can be switched on-the-fly, as well as 6 programmable buttons.

The Katar Pro Ultralight wired gaming mouse weights just 69g as opposed to the Wireless' 96g. This is certainly in line with the market's newfound fascination with ultralight gaming mice. It features plug-and-play compatibility via a USB port, and has a 12,400 DPI Pixart sensor with 3 DPI presets. It is also highly programmable in iCUE, so you can bind macros, adjust DPI, or customise its RGB lighting.

While the officialy pricing has yet to be revealed, Corsair claims that these 2 new mice will come at an "eminently affordable price point". For more details, you may visit the official product pages for the Katar Pro Wireless and Katar Pro.
