Fans of Neon Genesis Evangelion are in for more treats this year, which marks the 25th anniversary of the classic anime. Earlier on, OPPO announced a limited edition EVA-themed Reno Ace 2 smartphone, and now Casio has joined the fray with their own limited edition G-Shock DW-6900 watch.
Its design is inspired by EVA-01, the mecha unit piloted by the main protagonist of the show. EVA-01's iconic purple and green are incorporated throughout the watch, including the face and band. On the back of the watch face, you'll find a custom Radio Eva engraving with an image of the aforementioned mech.
Pre-orders for the Casio EVA-01 Edition G-Shock DW-6900 are already open via the official Evangelion online store. The watch is priced at ¥22,000 (~RM874) and is expected to ship by early August.
