Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty: Warzone has announced its final season before transitioning to the brand new Warzone 2.
Titled “Last Stand”, the new season starts on 24 August and brings back several iconic characters from the Call of Duty franchise. These include Raul Menendez and Seraph from Black Ops, Khaled Al-Asad from the Modern Warfare series and Gabriel Rorke from Ghosts.
Other additions to the season include new weapons like the EX1 energy rifle, and changes to the Caldera map such as a volcanic eruption that affects the area.
A new LTM called Operation: Last Called will also be included. Inspired by the Search and Destroy mode, players will either defend Caldera and defuse bombs across the island or detonate them.
