As Malaysians are once again hit with the CMCO, work-from-home setups will experience a resurgence in popularity. With more and more people spending a disproportionate time staring at their screens, it becomes even more important to take care of our ocular health.
To that end, BenQ has launched two new products that feature their latest eye-care technologies to protect eye health. The first is the GW2780T Eye-care Monitor, which is the 27" successor of the popular GW2480T 24" monitor. This is paired with the ScreenBar, which according to the press release, is "an intelligent clip-on monitor light with advanced sensors and dimmable features designed for consumers’ viewing comfort."

The BenQ GW2780T monitor uses Brightness Intelligence Technology (B.I.) to automatically adjust the screen light to adapt to the user’s surrounding environment. It can also be paired with laptops, tablets, and smartphones, and features flicker-free and low blue light technology.
On the other hand, the ScreenBar is an original invention by BenQ; the cutting-edge e-reading monitor that features 14 adjustable brightness levels and 8 colour temperature levels (from 2.7K to 6.5K), to maximise comfort. It also has an auto-dimming feature that uses built-in ambient light sensors to detect the surrounding brightness and adjust the brightness and colour temperature appropriately. It also has an asymmetrical optical design that only illuminates the desk and does not shine on the screen.
The GW2780T Eye-Care Monitor and Monitor Light ScreenBar are priced at RM899 and RM599 respectively on BenQ's official Lazada store.
