Award-Winning Indie Game Unpacking to Arrive on PlayStation on 10 May

Australian studio Witch Beam's Unpacking, a "zen game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home" is coming to PS4 and PS5 on 10 May.

Originally released last November on Switch, Steam, and Xbox, players will be able to unpack a series of items, including alarm clocks, colored pencils, art books, plush toys, and more, all "personal to [the] main character".

The story of the main character is told through the things you unpack, progressing from 1997 all the way up to 2004, with items referencing the period of time, such as classic CRT computer monitors, old video game consoles, and more.

Unpacking receives positive reviews and even bagged home several awards, including Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game as well as EE Game of the Year and Narrative prizes at the BAFTA Games Award.
