Asus Launches the ROG Phone 5s Series with Snapdragon 888 Plus Chip and 360 Hz Touch Sampling Rate

After the release of the ROG Phone 5 series, Asus has launched the new ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chip with a 3.0 GHz prime core. Both models also come with an improved AI Engine that offers 20% boost which can deliver 32 TOPS.

Both models feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. The panel supports nearly 131% of sRGB and 111% of DCI-P3 along with 800 nits of brightness. Asus has also upgraded both devices with a 360 Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the ROG Phone 5s Pro sports a colour PMOLED display on the rear.


In terms of storage, ROG Phone 5s is equipped with up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage while the ROG Phone 5s Pro is equipped with 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.


For imaging, both feature a 24 MP selfie camera on the front and house a triple rear camera module comprising a 64 MP main sensor, a 13 MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 5 MP macro unit. Underneath their hoods, both have a 6000 mAh battery with 65 W fast charging support.

The ROG Phone 5s will be available in two colour variants including Phantom Black and Storm White whereas the ROG Phone 5s Pro will be available in Phantom Black only.
