ASUS announced today that the ProArt Display OLED PA32DC will be available on shelves by July 2022.
The world’s first OLED reference monitor incorporates OLED technology to achieve ultra-precise control and extreme contrast, making each individual pixel its own light source. It also features a pure RGB-stripe OLED panel with billions of self-illuminating pixels that can be individually activated to reproduce lifelike images and enhanced colour contrast for high luminance images.
The monitor also has a built-in motorised flip colourimeter that moves into place when required, even when the display hood is mounted. The PA32DC can also be calibrated and the look-up table can be rewritten with the ASUS ProArt calibration software.
The OLED display features an Auto Brightness Limiter (ABL) to maximise power use. When displaying a white or bright image in a particular window, the display automatically dims the image as the window size
increases.
The PA32DC supports multiple HDR formats, including HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) for unmatched levels of brightness, contrast and colours.
It also offers a full-function USB-C, DisplayPort 1.4 and three HDMI 2.0 ports for compatibility with current and future displays and peripherals.
ASUS has also partnered with Adobe for a promotion. Every purchase of a ProArt Display OLED PA32DC in selected regions includes a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. This subscription includes access to over 20 apps and 100GB of cloud storage.
The price of the PA32DC has yet to be announced.
