ASUS has just announced their lineup of GeForce RTX 3060 12GB series graphics cards, including ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and ASUS Dual models.
ROG Strix
The ROG Strix RTX 3060 12GB graphics card features a 2.7-slot triple-fan design encased in a shroud with metal accents. ASUS' Axial-tech fan design makes a return, along with the alternate spinning middle fan to reduce turbulence. The fans and top of the graphics card are illuminated by a customisable RGB element.
It also features MaxContact technology, Super Alloy Power II components, FanConnect II headers, and an onboard Dual BIOS switch. A voltage-sensing circuit detects if the rail voltage is dropping too low and alerts the user by lighting up a red LED, enabling easier debugging.
TUF Gaming
The TUF Gaming RTX 3060 12GB graphics card features an all-metal shroud and three powerful Axial-tech fans that utilise durable dual ball fan bearings. It also feature the same alternate spinning middle fan as well as a stop mode that automatically switches off the fans at low temperatures.
In line with the TUF Gaming legacy, the graphics card utilises top-shelf chokes and MOSFETs, as well as capacitors with military-grade certification. Each card undergoes a 144-hour validation trial to ensure tiptop quality and performance.
The protective metal backplate features a wide vent to prevent heat buildup, while the GPU bracket provides consistent mounting pressure between the die and heat spreader, It also features a Dual BIOS switch as well as a stainless steel I/O bracket.
ASUS Dual
True to its name, the ASUS Dual RTX 3060 12GB graphics card features 2 Axial-tech fans within a sleek shroud. It measures just 20cm long and fits into a 2-slot design, making it ideal for compact builds.
Its components are mounted and soldered to the PCB with great precision using Auto-Extreme Technology, and are protected by an aluminum backplate and stainless steel I/O bracket.
The ROG Strix and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 12GB graphics cards will be available worldwide starting from late February, while the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 12GB will be available in early March.
