ASUS has announced the new Dual Radeon RX 6500 XT and TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics cards, built on the AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture for 1080p gaming performance. They feature high-bandwidth, low-latency AMD Infinity Cache, and high-speed 4GB GDDR6 memory. The GPUs also support AMD Smart Access Memory technology, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, and Windows 11.
The Dual Radeon RX 6500 XT comes with the Axial-tech fan design and an 85W power draw in a small compact form factor. To enable 1080p performance while staying cool, the barrier rings around the fan direct airflow straight to the heatsink. Thanks to its zero-decibel technology, the fans will only spin when the temperature reaches 60°C and it will turn off under light workloads.
With a 2.7-slot heatsink and dual Axial-tech fans, the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6500 XT is able to perform with a lower temperature than the Dual Radeon RX 6500 XT. Users can also switch it to Q mode for silent operation. It has a 90W power draw and Aura RGB lighting on the TUF logo. It also uses military-grade capacitors for durability.
The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6500 XT OC Edition is available for RM1,360 while the ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6500 XT OC Edition is priced at RM1,470.
