Apple Watch Ultra: Designed for Divers, Endurance Athletes, and Adventurers
In addition to introducing the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Apple Watch SE, Apple also debuted the Apple Watch Ultra for the first time. The smartwatch is tough and luxurious with top-notch features and is made for outdoor adventures. There is only one Apple Watch Ultra variant offered; it is a huge 49mm model that costs RM3,799 with cellular. Pre-orders for the smartphone are already available worldwide, and sales will begin on September 23.
With a 49mm diameter, the new model sports the largest case ever made for an Apple Watch. It is made of aerospace-grade titanium and comes with a flat sapphire crystal for maximum endurance to protect the Retina display, according to Apple has the highest brightness rating of any member of the family at 2,000 nits.
Aside from that., three new watch bands are also included with the Apple Watch Ultra: the fabric Trail Loop, which the company claims to be its thinnest band to date; the Alpine Loop, which has a titanium G-hook fastener; and the Ocean Band, which has a titanium buckle, a spring-loaded loop, and a dive extension for wearing over wetsuits.
According to Apple, the Watch Ultra has a battery life of up to 36 hours on a single charge and up to 60 hours with Low Power Mode activated. Given that GPS and heart rate measurements are still possible while the Watch Ultra is in Low Power Mode. Besides, the data for distance, pace, and route are improved elsewhere by a more accurate dual-frequency GPS and new crash detection feature also detects if you've been in a car accident and calls emergency services using the watch's many sensors, including two new motion sensors.
