Apple Warns Security Flaw In IOS Devices

Apple disclosed several serious security vulnerabilities for iPhones, iPads and Macs.

In a security report released on 17 August, the company explained that the vulnerabilities allow a hacker to gain full admin access to the device and impersonate the owner’s device and run any software in their name.

Apple did not explain how the vulnerabilities were discovered and only cited an anonymous researcher.

They have advised users with iPhone 6S and later models, 5th generation iPad, iPad Pro and iPad Air 2 models. Users with Mac computers running MacOS Monterey and some iPod models are also advised to update to the latest version.
