AMD Announces 5000 G-Series Processors with Integrated Graphics

AMD has announced a new line of desktop processors that come with integrated Radeon graphics.


Dubbed the AMD Ryzen 5000 G-Series, the processors are 7nm, Zen 3 architecture-based chips like the regular, non-graphics-packing Ryzen 5000 series. They consist of the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, AMD Ryzen 7 5700GE, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, AMD Ryzen 5 5600GE, AMD Ryzen 3 5300G, and AMD Ryzen 3 5300GE.

The Ryzen 5000 G-Series set to release on April 13 as part of OEM desktops, although The Verge reports that AMD will “be offering the chips directly to customers interested in using them in their own custom-made machines sometime later this year”.
