HONOR recently launched its ultra-slim foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V5, in Malaysia. Around the same time, Malaysian Ambassador to China, Dato’ Norman Muhamad, visited HONOR’s L4 AI-driven manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China—part of the brand’s Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park—which features one of the highest levels of AI automation in foldable smartphone production.

During his visit, Dato’ Norman Muhamad praised HONOR’s cutting-edge manufacturing and ongoing innovation under its Alpha Plan, recognizing the brand’s technological strength and global competitiveness. He looked forward to seeing more advanced products like the HONOR Magic V5 made available in Malaysia and across ASEAN to support regional digital growth.
The ambassador also toured HONOR’s Product Exhibition Hall, where he was introduced to the brand’s full-spectrum innovation process—from simulation and algorithm development to material research and connectivity technologies—alongside its broader ecosystem of smart devices.
Launched in 2021, HONOR’s Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park represents a leading example of AI-powered production. With 75% of its processes automated—many developed in-house—it can assemble smartphones with 75-micron precision and produce one unit every 28.5 seconds.
