Acer Releases AMD-Powered Acer Swift X and Acer Nitro 50 in Malaysia

Today, Acer Malaysia officially launches the Red Dot Award winner Acer Swift X and Acer Nitro 50 powered by the AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors.

Acer Swift X

The Acer Swift X is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics with the 3rd generation Max-Q technology. It is equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB PCIe NVMe storage.


It features a 14-inch FHD IPS display with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio along with Acer BlueLightShield technology. It has 300 nits of brightness and covers 100% of the sRGB colour gamut.


Weighing only 1.39 kg and measuring 1.79 cm thick, it sports a 59 W battery that can last for up to 17 hours of use. It has an air inlet keyboard design that improves thermal performance and removes around 8-10% more heat than usual keyboards.


The Acer Swift X comes with two variants: AMD Ryzen 7 and AMD Ryzen 5 priced at RM4,999 and RM4,299 respectively. Consumers who purchase it from 6 - 20 October on the Acer Shopee Flagship Store and Acer eStore will be entitled to buy a Logitech MX Anywhere 3 mouse for 50% off, at RM199. It will be available at all Acer official online stores and authorised resellers nationwide from 15 October onwards.


Acer Nitro 50

The Acer Nitro 50 now comes with the options of AMD Ryzen 7 and AMD Ryzen 5 with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti for gaming or content creation and video editing. It is equipped with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB of M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, which can be upgraded through additional slots.


It will be available at all Acer official and authorised reseller stores from 10 October onwards, coming in three variants:

Consumers who purchase the Acer Nitro 50 on Acer eStore or Acer Flagship Store on Shopee on 10 October will receive free gifts worth up to RM278, including a Predator Galea 311 gaming headset and a Predator gaming urban backpack.
