17LIVE Announces Global Rebranding; Aims to Become Live Streaming Leader

17LIVE, operator of the leading live streaming platform in Asia, has announced a global rebranding to unify its brand presence worldwide. From today onwards, 17LIVE will change to its new company name, logo, and mission statement.

Currently, the platform has more than 50 million registered users worldwide and it has expanded to Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore this year. Its voice streaming app WAVE is growing in Indonesia. The company is planning to invest in new markets in Southeast Asia in the future.


The company and brand name, 17LIVE, was previously pronounced differently across different regions. The rebranding has set the company and brand name to 17LIVE, pronounced as "one seven live" for global brand positioning purposes.

The numbers 1 and 7 on the logo represent the concept of "connecting together across

seven continents under one sky". The red colour symbolises the dynamism of live streaming while the white colour symbolises the unscripted "real" aspect of live performances. Additionally, the red colour also expresses the "ON AIR" image.
