Today, Gucci unveiled its new collaboration with apparel, lifestyle, and gaming brand 100 Thieves. According to Gucci, the collaboration for the limited edition backpack draws on the shared values of freedom and self-expression.
The collaboration features a limited release of just 200 units of the backpacks from Gucci’s Off The Grid collection. Aside from the main compartment with a buckle closure, the backpack features three snap closure pockets and a notable circular patch with the 100 Thieves logo on it. The new backpack is revamped in bright red, with the original Off The Grid line available in black, blue, orange, and dark grey.
“The limited-edition backpack is made from recycled and sustainably sourced materials including Econyl made from fishing nets, carpets, and other scraps,” said Gucci.
Gucci has also released a promotional video in conjunction with the collaboration project. According to Hypebeast, the video was shot at 100 Thieves’ gaming facility in Los Angeles called The Compound. The video features seven 100 Thieves content creators including Valkyrae, Neekolul, BrookeAB, Nadeshot, CouRageJD, Yassuo, and Kris London, and two of its players, Ssumday and Kenny.
The 100 Thieves x Gucci backpack is now available on Gucci’s website. It is also available for purchase in its Beverly Hills store (Thanks, Sportskeeda). Each unit retails for US$2,500 (~RM10,561).
