Zelda: BotW2 'Near Completion' Rumours Were Fuelled by Mistranslation - Status Remains Unknown

Is it done? Is it coming? Is it still far away? GIVE US SOMETHING, NINTENDO!

The Nintendo Switch is pretty synonymous with its pilot release - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Winning TGA's Game of the Year award and multiple other accolades, the open world role-playing game is exactly what people expected and more, with the ability to immerse themselves in the vast and aesthetically pleasing world of Hyrule.

Even though the sequel was announced 2019, we've yet to hear any updates from Nintendo or any other sources - until now.

While the short-lived rumour certainly stirred some excitement within the gaming community, it looks like we might have to wait for an official reveal before preparing our wallets.

Either way, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is widely expected to be as much of a hit - if not more so - than its predecessor; if the first title is anything to go by, we are certainly in for a treat once it's eventually announced. FINGERS CROSSED.
