YouTube Disables Picture-in-Picture on the iOS App

According to AppleInsider, YouTube has disabled its experimental picture-in-picture mode for its app on iOS devices, only 9 months after the testing began.
The experimental feature has been removed from the official page with the website stating that it has "been turned off". The 'enable / disable' option is also gone now in the app. Premium users who have previously enabled the feature can still use it, 9to5Google reported, at least until YouTube completely disables it.
