The Xiaomi 12 series is now official, comprising the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X, with the standard model taking a more compact approach compared to the 6.8" Mi 11.
Xiaomi 12
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the Xiaomi 12 features a 6.28" AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. At the camera department, it sports a triple rear camera module, which consists of a 50MP IMX766 sensor, a 5MP macro camera, and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The front display houses a 32MP selfie shooter.
The smaller Xiaomi 12 has a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It will boot the new MIUI13. The Xiaomi 12 will come in black, blue, field green, and pink with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 8+128GB variant is priced at 3,699 Yuan (~RM2,427) while the 8+256GB variant comes at 3,999 Yuan (~RM2,624). There's also a higher-end variant with 12+256GB, priced at 4,399 Yuan (~RM2,886).
Xiaomi 12 Pro
The beefier version of the vanilla model is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip but offers some boosted specs. The 6.73" display comes with a 2K resolution and variable refresh rate from 1 - 120Hz depending on the content on the screen. The rear camera module includes a 50MP IMX707 main sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Its 4600mAh battery supports 120W wired charging and up to 50W wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro starts at an 8+128GB variant, priced at 4,699 Yuan (~RM3,083). The 8+256GB and 12+256GB variants are available at 4,999 Yuan (~RM3,280) and 5,399 Yuan (~RM3,542) respectively.
Xiaomi 12X
The Xiaomi 12X is a more toned-down version of the vanilla Xiaomi 12. It has the same 6.2" 120Hz AMOLED display, triple camera setup, 4,500 mAh battery, and 67W charging. However, replacing the powerful chipset is a Snapdragon 870 instead. It also doesn't support wireless or reverse charging.
The Xiaomi 12X is available in black, blue, and pink, starting from 3,199 Yuan (~RM2,099) for the 8+128GB variant. Meanwhile, the 8+256GB and 12+256GB variants are available at 3,499 Yuan (~RM2,295) and 3,799 Yuan (~RM2,492) respectively.
