Smartphone brand Xiaomi today announced the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Lite in Malaysia.
Featuring a featherweight design, the phone weighs 173g and is 7.29mm thin. It has 6.55-inch, FHD+ AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The also features both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for a high-quality viewing experience.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite includes a Snapdragon 778G chipset and also has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a multi-tier cooling system that ensures efficient heat dissipation.
For the camera, the smartphone has a triple camera setup with a 108MP, f/1.88 main camera that uses the Samsung HM2 sensor. Other cameras include the 8MP, f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. The front camera is 32MP, f/2.45 for all your selfie needs.
It has a 4300mAh battery that easily supports full-day usage and 67W fast charging that can charge a battery to 100% in just 41 minutes. There’s also Xiaomi’s AdaptiveCharge technology which learns and optimises charging speeds, allowing it to be ready and fully charged when needed.
Other notable features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Pre-orders for the Xiaomi 12 Lite start from today, 19 August to 26 August. The phone comes in two variations: 128GB and 256GB storage and is priced at RM 1699 and RM 1899 respectively. Customers can get RM 100 off if they pre-order.
