Xbox Cloud Gaming service recently added Flight Simulator allows players to play the game on Xbox One, phones, tablets, and web browsers via the cloud, but players can't use a keyboard and mouse for control. That, however, will change according to Flight Simulator Head, Jorg Neumann.
Spotted by Windows Central, Neumman said in a developer Q&A that Microsoft is working on adding platform-level support for the feature, suggesting most games on Xbox Cloud Gaming could eventually include the input method.
"So the platform team is working on this. I know I can't give a date because it's the platform team. I don't know their dates, but it's coming," he said. "I’m hoping it will be done by June or so, but I can’t ever tell."
The support of a keyboard and mouse would mean that players can play games like Halo Infinite without a gamepad. It would also mean that PC exclusive titles can be more easily made available for the service.
