In conjunction with the first anniversary of Riot Games' 5v5 FPS title Valorant, the company is once again teaming up with Prime Gaming's Crown Channel for the second installment of wwFest, titled "wwFest: Unlocked YR1", a global virtual electronic music festival.
The musical sets take place in 5 locations around the world, including Los Angeles, South Korea, Dubai, Mexico, and Germany, and utilises XR (extended reality) to reflect the virtual world of Valorant on set. Set to take place over 6 hours, the festival will feature interactive elements which will allow Twitch chat viewers to take control of the look, feel, and vibe of each performance.
This iteration's lineup includes headliner GRYFFIN, who will be playing live from Los Angeles with Aluna as the opening act, Imanbek from Dubai, Unknown Brain from Germany, BoomBox Cartel from Mexico, as well as Justin Oh from South Korea.
wwFest: Unlocked YR1 follows the success of wwFest: Valorant, which was the first of its kind, headlined by Grammy-nominated international Madeon, ARMNHMR, Moore Kismet, Ookay, and Whipped Cream.
