Smart home security brand EZVIZ has announced that the C3X outdoor WiFi camera is now available in Malaysia.
Described as the “world’s first dual-lens security camera” and the company’s “most advanced smart home camera to date”, the C3X is touted to be able to produce color video in “extremely dark”, 0.005 lux condition environments. It also has an AI-powered motion detection feature to allow it to distinguish moving vehicles and people from animals and other objects.
Aside from that, the C3X has a built-in strobe light and customizable siren that can trigger when sensing unwanted motion. It can send real-time notifications to phones when vehicles or people cross “specific lines” that are drawn on the EZVIZ app as well. EZVIZ says that regular updates will be provided via the app.
Other listed features include a video resolution of 1080p, H.265 video compression, a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, dual antennas, up to 256 GB of onboard micro SD storage, and an IP67 dust-and-waterproof rating.
EZVIZ Malaysia Country Manager Lonn Cheung said in a prepared statement, “Malaysians have shown an increased interest in smart home devices and we are proud to be able to deliver the element of security into their smart home building journeys.”
The C3X can be bought at physical distributors in malls or on EZVIZ’s Shopee and Lazada stores for RM539.
