Waze iOS widget will be removed due to "significantly" low usage

The most-popular navigation application "Waze" is removing the widget for iOS users in the latest update v4.92. In a forum post, Waze quietly confirmed that they would be removing the iOS widget support due to "significantly low" usage.

The Waze widget was first introduced back in 2014, it allows iOS users to quickly navigate to their home or work directly from the home screen, without needing to go into the application to view the predicted driving time.

In case you have no idea what the Waze widget looks like on iOS:

It is unsure whether Waze will bring back the functionality of the widget in the future, either a full revamp or a lock screen widget. We will update you soon if there's any information about the Waze iOS widgets changes.
