Ahead of Apple's WWDC 2022 event in June, Mark Gurman has released some news about watchOS 9. Apple is expected to announce its latest iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, and watchOS 9 at the event.
Gurman reported that watchOS 9 will introduce a new power-saving or low power mode for compatible Apple watches. While the Apple Watch already has a "Power Reserve" mode to save battery life, it turns the smartwatch into a standard watch when enabled. With the new feature, Apple Watch will still be able to perform high-end functions while conserving battery life. If this is true, it will be a huge bonus score for the Apple Watch.
