vivo has announced that the latest model of its Y-series smartphones - the Y33s - is coming to Malaysia soon.
Weighing 182 g and measuring a thickness of 8 mm, the new device features a 6.58" FHD+ display with a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio and 1080p resolution. It supports 96& NTSC colour gamut. It is powered by the Helio G80 octa-core processor, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It also comes with the Extended RAM 2.0 feature, which allows users to convert a designated amount of storage space to equivalent RAM capacity to boost the device's performance.
It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery which supports 18 W fast charging as well as reverse charging capability - turning it into a power bank on the go. For its cameras, the smartphone houses a triple rear camera module comprising a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP "super macro" camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The rear cameras are equipped with features like the Super Night Mode, Eye Autofocus, and Super HDR. As for its videography capabilities, it offers the EIS Ultra Steady Video feature which stabilises the video during shooting. Meanwhile, there's a 16 MP selfie camera on the front.
The device runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11, bringing a clean design aesthetic and simple touch controls. For an immersive gaming experience, it offers modes such as the 4D Gaming Vibration, Game Picture-in-Picture, Do Not Disturb, and Esports mode.
The vivo Y33s will come in two colour variants: Mirror Black and Midday Dream. It is now available for pre-order at RM999 on the vivo Malaysia e-store, and vivo's official stores on Lazada and Shopee. Consumers who pre-order the model from now until 10 September will receive freebies worth up to RM329, consisting of a vivo backpack, a 1-year extended warranty, a 1-year screen crack protection, and a free Netflix Gift card worth up to RM55.
vivo Malaysia is also offering two exclusive bundles for its customers on Shopee when they pre-order the smartphone. Consumers will be able to purchase the device and the instax mini 9 at RM1,187, saving RM102. They can also choose to purchase the device and the instax min LINK smartphone printer at RM1,387, saving RM192. Both bundles will include a free pack of mini 10s film.
