If you’ve been looking around for a new mid-range smartphone that looks stylish, performs smoothly, and can actually survive the “accidents” of everyday life, the vivo V60 Lite 5G might just deserve more of your attention.
When you hear the word “Lite”, you might think it’s just a toned-down version of the standard sibling model. But that’s not really the case with the vivo V60 Lite 5G. This phone might carry the “Lite” label, but it hit the sweet spots in all the right places, combining flagship-inspired design, powerful hardware, and serious durability into one good-looking package. .
On paper, the specs already look impressive, but in fact how does it perform in real life? Let’s check it out.

Design
Starting off with what everyone notices first, the design. As usual, the vivo V60 Lite 5G carries that familiar sleek and premium vibe that vivo’s V series is known for, but with a few nice touches that make it feel more refined.
The Pop Pink colour is easily the star of the lineup. It’s youthful, stylish, and radiates a warm pink tone that subtly shifts under light, giving out a vibe that can instantly brighten your mood. vivo calls it “pink magic,” and it really adds a touch of personality to the phone.

The V60 Lite features a slim 7.69mm flat screen design that feels solid in the hand. Personally I always prefer a flat display over a curved one because it feels more practical when gaming and typing, giving a firmer grip without worrying about sliding off the edges.

Around the back, vivo has kept things simple and elegant. The new transparent vertical camera module looks clean and well-balanced, without any unnecessary bulk sticking out. It feels comfortable whether you’re holding it in portrait mode for scrolling or landscape for gaming. The finish feels premium too with an elegant metallic frame that fits nicely in one hand. Overall, the V60 Lite 5G strikes the balance between style and comfort.

Performance
The vivo V60 Lite 5G runs on the new MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, paired with 12 GB RAM and another 12 GB extended RAM, plus a massive 512 GB of storage. That’s more than enough for games, videos, and all your daily apps without needing to worry about space.

Overall performance feels very smooth, especially when multitasking or jumping between apps. The system runs fast, animations are fluid, and the phone doesn’t seem to struggle even when handling heavier tasks like video editing or playing graphics-intensive games. vivo’s internal lab tests show up to 60% performance improvement over the previous generation, with CPU and GPU boosts of 49% and 105% respectively.
I played a few rounds of Honor of Kings, with Ultimate graphic settings, Ultra FPS and Ultra resolution, and the performance is quite above my expectations. The phone managed to maintain a stable 90 FPS throughout the session. Gameplay was consistently smooth, without much noticeable frame drops or overheating, and this proves the Dimensity 7360-Turbo is actually quite well-optimized for mobile gaming.

The 6.77-inch AMOLED display adds to the experience with its 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Everything from scrolling to video playback looks sharp and fluid. Even under bright sunlight, visibility is still clear thanks to its peak brightness of 3000 nits. Combine that with the 400% boosted volume dual stereo speakers, which gives you louder and more detailed sounds that cuts through background noise, and it’s a seriously enjoyable entertainment device.

Durability
This is where the “Lite” surprises the most, and in fact, I think they should just name it V60 “Hard”. The V60 Lite 5G is built tough enough to handle the unexpected. It comes with SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance and Military-Grade Certification, which means it has passed rigorous impact and drop tests under various conditions. It can survive everyday accidents like slips off the table or light drops on hard floors without major damage.
The display is protected by Shield Glass, which provides solid resistance against scratches and impacts. On top of that, the phone also offers dust and water resistance, giving you peace of mind over splashes, rain or sand at the beach.

During our own testing, we pushed the phone through several “possible” real-world scenarios, from desk drop to heavy impact crush, to see how it would hold up, and it's actually pretty impressive how vivo managed to keep the phone sleek and stylish white maintaining this level of toughness. For anyone who tends to be a bit clumsy or simply wants a phone that doesn’t need babying, the V60 Lite 5G gives you solid peace of mind.

Battery
The V60 Lite 5G packs a massive 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery, supported by 90W FlashCharge for fast top-ups. In daily use, the phone easily lasts more than a full day with a mix of social media, video playback and casual gaming.

vivo has also put a lot of effort into long-term reliability. The battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its capacity even after 1,700 full charge cycles, which roughly translates to about five years of regular use. This gives users extra confidence that the phone will stay dependable over time. To further assure quality, vivo includes its 5 Golden Standards Verifications, which cover every important aspect of battery performance:
Ultra Large: 6500 mAh BlueVolt Battery
Ultra Fast: 90W FlashCharge
Super Durable: 5-Year Battery Health
Ultra Secure: 24-Dimension Security Protection
Slim: As Thin As 7.59 mm
In my actual battery test with Honor of Kings, one full hour of gaming at Ultimate graphic, Ultra FPS and Ultra Resolution settings, the battery only dropped by around 16%, which is quite efficient considering the bright AMOLED screen and high refresh rate.

From my own charging test, the V60 Lite 5G went from 2% to 12% in 5 minutes, 34% in 15 minutes, 65% in 30 minutes and 100% in 48 minutes, and I would say that’s quite impressive. The Bypass Charging feature also helps keep temperatures under control during long gaming sessions by powering the phone directly instead of constantly heating the battery.
With its combination of large capacity, smart power management, and fast charging, the V60 Lite 5G easily stands out as one of the most reliable mid-range phones for long-lasting use.
Camera
The vivo V60 Lite 5G features a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 32 MP selfie camera. It’s a solid setup for a mid-range device and performs consistently well in most lighting conditions.

I took a few random shots out of the box, using both the main and wide-angle cameras, and the results were quite impressive. Photos from the main camera came out sharp and detailed, with natural-looking colours and good dynamic range.
The wide-angle shots maintained decent clarity and didn’t show much distortion around the edges, which is nice to see at this price range.
The highlight here is the AI Master Aura Light Portrait, which is vivo’s upgraded lighting system that adjusts automatically based on your environment to give you professional studio-like portraits, even at night. When the aura light kicks in, it brightens up the subject beautifully while keeping the background balanced. Skin tones look smoother and more natural, and there’s a nice soft lighting effect that makes portraits look more polished without appearing overexposed. It feels like having a small ring light built right into your phone.

The camera also includes creative modes like Vintage Shot, which gives photos a nostalgic film-like feel, while the AI Four-Season Portrait lets you transform backgrounds into different seasonal themes from spring to winter. These features are fun to play around with, especially if you enjoy editing and sharing on social media.
Smart Experience
Beyond its hardware, vivo also added several smart AI features that make daily use more convenient.. The AI Smart Call Assistant can transcribe calls in real time, translate foreign languages and even summarise key points automatically, whereas the AI Transcript Assist can convert voice recordings into text and generates summaries. Both these are very handy productivity tools for students and professionals. The integration with Google Gemini adds another layer of smart convenience across supported apps as well.
Another practical feature that we all probably need is Block Spam Calls. It automatically identifies and filters out spam, suspected scam and advertising numbers, saving you from those annoying telemarketing calls that keep coming at the worst times.

It even comes with AI SuperLink to ensure your connection stays stable in weak network areas. It uses smart signal switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to keep your internet connection steady, which is especially handy when you’re streaming or gaming on the go.
Verdict
The vivo V60 Lite 5G is a solid all-rounder that doesn’t compromise on looks, performance, or durability. It’s the type of phone that feels stylish enough for social media, powerful enough for gaming, and tough enough for daily life.
With its fast charging, large battery, immersive display, and creative camera features, it delivers everything most Malaysians would want in a mid-range smartphone, wrapped in a youthful premium pink design that stands out from the crowd.
If you’re looking for a phone that can keep up with your non-stop lifestyle and look good while doing it, the V60 Lite 5G should definitely be on your list.
