vivo have recently released a brand new addition to their vivo V50 Series, the vivo V50 Lite, a smartphone that comes with a stunning design, good performances and a long-lasting battery. Remarkably, despite its large capacity, the battery is able to maintain a slim profile and this is because it utilises Battery Encapsulation Technology which helps to reduce the battery encapsulation volume by 50%. As a result, the device is able to provide long-lasting performance for an entire day without compromising its sleek and lightweight form.

Thus, I decided to test out the battery life of the device while playing games for an hour. The game I chose for the test was Wuthering Waves, a game known for its high consumption of battery, while the game was set to its highest settings and while Esports Mode was running as well.

In total, the results showed that a total of 15% of the battery was consumed in the hour of gameplay.

Aside from that, I also wanted to test out the battery life of the device while watching YouTube videos. Thus, I watched a 1440p video for an hour long. The results of the test showed that only a total of 5% of the phone’s battery was consumed in that time, which is an impressive feat.

Aside from just its large battery, the V50 Lite also supports a 90W FlashCharge, and with this rapid charging speed, you’ll be able to use your device in an instant even when its battery is depleted. When testing the charging speed for the V50 Lite, the device was able to 32% in just 15 minutes while reaching 100% in only 51 minutes, which is incredible.

In addition to this, users can also utilise the large battery of the V50 Lite in order to charge their other devices via the Reverse Charging feature. The device is able to submit up to 6W through a USB-C connection, and with this feature, you will be able to charge other devices without needing to bring a power bank with you everywhere you go.

Furthermore, the V50 Lite also features several energy-saving algorithms, such as AI Sleep Mode and Lightweight OS, in order to ensure that it could last for a longer time. With the AI Sleep Mode, it helps to optimise the device’s charging process by studying their daily charging habits. Meanwhile, the Lightweight OS reduces the power consumption of unnecessary background tasks, only utilising essential apps and services to minimise the system’s power consumption. These features help to ensure that the device will be able to have an impressive battery life and up to 5 years of continuous use and that it would be able to retain at least 80% of its capacity.
